Our company produce an Italian basalt/ lava stone. The stone is referred to as " Pietra Lavica". It is a grey colored hard stone often primarily used for paving and flooring as well as in the making of bathroom and kitchen apparatus (such as sinks, countertops, tables, vanity and shower laminates) . This igneous rock can be put through a furnace and refined in any desired color, glaze such as deep translucent glaze with a crackle finish or matt glaze and even metallic finish.
